PROGRAMS
CROSSFIT
We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities. It is important to us that you never get bored. With our constantly varied programming you will rarely do the same workout twice in any given year. You will never have to program your own workouts or spend hours in the gym. Instead, each day a workout will be provided for you that is scalable to suit your fitness level.
Our gym is very unique in that we have a wide variety of athletes from beginners that have never had any athletic experience before, to CrossFit Games athletes!
Our CrossFit programming is varied based on where you are at and what your goals are. We want you to come in and push yourself, but also learn proper technique while doing so.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Our personal training is under the umbrella of Minnesota Barbell, an annex to Timberwolf Fitness. It is headed by long-time strength coach Bob Durant and can be added on to your current CrossFit membership, or as a stand-alone program.
With the attention and accountability of a personal trainer, you can reach your goals faster and feel excited about where your health and fitness can take you. Below is what hiring a personal trainer can do for you.
Follow a training plan designed by your coach just for you. Special goals in mind? Travel for work? Ill or injured? Your plan will be adjusted to meet your needs.

POWERLIFTING
Our powerlifting classes are under the umbrella of Minnesota Barbell, an annex to Timberwolf Fitness. It is headed by long-time strength coach Bob Durant and can be added on to your current CrossFit membership, or as a stand-alone program.
This class focuses primarily on instructing and improving strength and execution of the three big lifts of Powerlifting; squat, deadlift and bench press, along with accessory work.
Our Powerlifting class focuses on one upper body and one lower body strength piece each week with a specific warm up for each, and additional accessory work for the muscles used in each lift as well.
The class is jam-packed full of movement and lifting, which means that you will not only get stronger, but you’ll be sweating and breathing pretty heavy for the full hour.
OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING
Our olympic weightlifting classes are under the umbrella of Minnesota Barbell, an annex to Timberwolf Fitness. It is headed by long-time strength coach Bob Durant and can be added on to your current CrossFit membership, or as a stand-alone program.
If you are looking to improve your Olympic Lifts, regardless of your current Olympic Lifting abilities, this class is made for you.
You will improve your weightlifting technique and become more efficient – leading to big PR’s! These sessions can be added as a supplement to your current training program, or used as a stand-alone program.
NUTRITION
We offer 1:1 personalized Nutrition Coaching to help you achieve your goals in and outside of the gym. This nutrition program is all about lifestyle and is customized to fit your personal goals. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to nutrition – everyone needs their own personalized plan! Working with us will give you the tools, knowledge and confidence to set you up for success during your health journey. PHYSICAL THERAPY
At Timberwolf Fitness, physical therapy is offered through Ascension Physical Therapy and Performance. Dr. Jake offers his services within the gym, making them convenient and relevant to your needs. Physical Therapy will consist of individualized manual therapies (dry needling, cupping, deep tissue work), corrective exercises, and modifications for your activities so that we can keep you moving while you recover!
